A new study has discovered Europe’s most Instagrammable casinos, with Casino de Monte-Carlo in Monaco topping the ranking.

Casino review site Kongebonus gathered a list of the biggest casinos in Europe and analysed their Instagram hashtag post counts. They ordered the casinos from highest to lowest number of posts to reveal the ranking of the most Instagrammable casinos in Europe.

At the top of the ranking is Casino de Monte-Carlo, located in Monaco, which has 99,914 posts on its hashtag on Instagram. This casino is also home to the opera house ‘Opéra de Monte-Carlo’, and interestingly, all locals are forbidden from entering the casino as it was built specifically for tourism and foreign visitors.

The second most Instagrammable casino in Europe is Casino Estoril in Portugal, with 30,189 posts under its hashtag. This casino inspired Ian Fleming’s iconic novel Casino Royale, the first ever James Bond book.

Casino Lisboa in Lisbon, Portugal, has ranked third with 18,396 posts about the casino on Instagram. This casino is located just 35km away from Casino Estoril and was the first casino in Portugal to be located in an urban centre instead of a tourist area.

In fourth place is The Hippodrome Casino in London, UK, which has accumulated 12,012 posts under its hashtag. The Hippodrome itself opened in 1900, but the casino was officially opened in 2012, becoming the biggest entertainment venue and casino in the country.

Ranking fifth is Casino Helsinki in Finland, which has a post count of 11,783 on Instagram. This casino is one of the few in the world that donates all its profits to charity. It is the second non-profit casino in Finland.

Casino Baden-Baden in Germany, has ranked sixth, as it has 11,152 posts under its hashtag. This is the most famous casino in Germany and is known for its rich history and tradition. For nearly 200 years it has impressed guests with its French roots and luxurious decor.

King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czechia, has ranked seventh, with a post count of 8,117 on Instagram. It is home to the largest poker room in Europe with over 160 tables.

In eighth place is Casino Cosmopol in Stockholm, Sweden, which has approximately 7,180 posts under its hashtag on Instagram.

Ranking ninth is Casino Barcelona in Spain, with 6,951 posts about it on Instagram.

Casino Baden in Austria has ranked tenth, accumulating a total of 5,039 posts on its Instagram hashtag.
